My Top Three Favorite States (so far) by Sullivan Williams Tennessee My number one favorite state is Tennessee. Specifically East Tennesee. You have to visit in the fall because the mountains look orange, red, and yellow, and the air is cool and crisp. My favorite area is the Great Smoky Mountains. There are rivers and hiking trails that are great to see, hike, swim, and explore! We road our bikes through Cades Cove and saw black bears. When there are mountains in the background, you can’t help but smile. Pigeon Forge also has thousands of things to do, like Dollywood….
