Newport, Oregon With Kids: Tide Pools, Lighthouses and Quiet Beach Days After several busier travel stops, Newport, Oregon, gave our family exactly what we needed: two quiet weeks beside the ocean, plenty of time to slow down, and some of the most beautiful coastal scenery we had seen anywhere.
