Tennessee

My number one favorite state is Tennessee. Specifically East Tennesee. You have to visit in the fall because the mountains look orange, red, and yellow, and the air is cool and crisp. My favorite area is the Great Smoky Mountains. There are rivers and hiking trails that are great to see, hike, swim, and explore! We road our bikes through Cades Cove and saw black bears. When there are mountains in the background, you can’t help but smile.

Pigeon Forge also has thousands of things to do, like Dollywood. Dollywood has rides and hours of fun. We went during the Great Pumpkin Luminights and it was decorated Halloween themed!

Tennessee is my number one favorite because of the rivers, the mountains, and just the feeling of being there.

Please visit Tennessee. It is AMAZING!

Florida

My second favorite state is Florida. I lived in Florida for about ten years before we started traveling.

Florida has summers that can be between 80 and 100 degrees and winters that are usually between 40 and 60 degrees so the weather is always nice.

If you visit Florida, you HAVE to assume there is an alligator in every natural body of freshwater. That includes rivers, lakes, swamps, and marshes.

One place I really recommend is Gatorland. It is a very fun place to visit, and there are tons of alligators and crocodiles of all different sizes (even rare white alligators). There are also saltwater crocodiles and American alligators. All I can say is, there are A LOT.

Another place you can see a lot of alligators is the Everglades National Park. We even saw over 50 one time (we counted!) on the Shark Valley Tram Road.

I really love Florida. Besides the alligators and good weather you can also expect beautiful beaches and lots of water activities. Central Florida is where I am from and there is a lot of beautiful land and cows! You should definitely visit!

Texas

My third favorite state is Texas. Texas is very cool. I love the vibe, the cowboys, and the longhorns.

We went to a rodeo outside of San Antonio, and it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. The horses were trying to buck the cowboys off, and so were the bulls. It was so exciting, and I would really recommend seeing one!

There are also a bunch of cool cacti in Texas, but if you see a fuzzy-looking cactus, DO NOT TOUCH IT! I had to learn that the hard way in Big Bend National Park. I believe it was called a prickly pear cactus, and it did not feel good at all. Also in Big Bend, we went to the Rio Grande, where we could see all the way into Mexico!

Another place I would recommend visiting is the Alamo. It is very historical and interesting, and it was really fun to walk around downtown San Antonio at the riverwalk.

Texas is a great state to visit, and I would definitely recommend it!
